XLC Dunlop valve (DV)The Dunlop valve is the widest spread valve in Germany and the Netherlands. Their characteristic is that they are tucked in a piece of metal tube, being secured with a lock nut. Therefore, these valves can be exchanged quickly and without tools, but they can be as easily stolen or sabotaged. The lock nut must be loosened to release the air.
